Namkeen factory owner dies after being hit by unknown vehicle

The owner of a salt factory died after being hit by an unknown vehicle at Kohefiza police station area in Bhopal on Saturday night at 11 pm. At the time of the accident, he was returning back to Sehore after giving delivery in Bhopal. Police said that Rajesh Rathore (46), resident of Sudama Nagar, has a factory named A-1 Namkeen on Badwai Airport Road, Bhopal.
He used to go up and down Sehore-Bhopal every day. On Friday night, he had gone to the shop located near Bhopal station to get the order delivered. After this he was going back to his home in Sehore by bike. On the way, near the VIP guest house, an unknown vehicle hit his bike hard.
Rajesh, who was seriously injured in the accident, was taken to Hamidia Hospital for treatment with the help of an ambulance by the people present there. On the basis of mobile numbers found in his pocket, Kohefiza police informed the family members about the accident. By the time the family reached the hospital, Rajesh had died. The police have established the case and handed over the body to the family members after postmortem. Police are scanning the CCTV footage installed around the incident site to establish the identity of the unknown accused driver.
