Swat is a valley situated in the province of Khyber Pakhtunkhwa. It's the upper on the top of the Swat River which reaches up to the Hindu Kash range. Saidu Sharif is believed to be the capital of Swat but Mingora is counted as the main town of Sawat. This valley is fully populated with Pashtuns and Afghans. That's why the Pashto is mostly spoken over here. With high peaks, green forests and Crystal Lakes, this pacific segment is called the "Switzerland of the region" by tourists.
