A woman’s risk of developing breast cancer has increased from one-nine to one-eighth. Thus, the results of research conducted Cancer Research UK, a Cancer Foundation in the UK as quoted from the BBC News website.
The figures released by Cancer Research UK show that there is an increase of 3.5% of women with breast cancer in the last 10 years. Meanwhile, women between the ages of 50 and 69 are in the category with the highest percentage increase, at 6%.
According to the research in India, every four minutes an Indian woman is diagnosed with breast cancer. One woman dies of carcinoma, every 13 minutes in India.
The British Cancer Foundation also shows that breast cancer is the most common cancer in women. 1/3 cases of cancer in women are breast cancer.
