The Ryle's Tube or nasogastric (NG) tube is a soft and flexible medical tube that passes through the nose into the stomach. It is commonly used in hospitals and clinics to assist patients who cannot swallow or eat normally providing them with the necessary nutrition and medications in a safe manner.
This tube is constructed of high-grade medical-grade PVC, which is easy on the patient's nose and stomach, minimizing distress during use. It may be utilized for feeding, medication delivery, or for draining stomach contents to alleviate pressure following surgery or bloating.
